Frameless glass railings provide unobstructed, clear views and require no horizontal frames and no vertical post support between glass panels.
A framed glass railing system will consist of two posts on either side of each glass panel with option handrail fixed to the top of the posts or floating on the side of the glass with brackets.
Solid stainless steel rods run horizontally connecting posts. This system requires little maintenance compared with glass and allows for the natural movement of air.
Sometimes considered to be more of a “commercial” look, cable railings have become a lot more popular in residential projects. Stainless steel cables run horizontally the length of the system and are fixed at each end post.
